I was workin...Don't feel bad; I did that once! I was working two jobs at the time, and my boss at my full time job was a huge jerk. He knew I was working the second job and threatened to fire me if I was just one minute late to work - even if it was because I broke down on the freeway or had a flat tire! So I got home from work one day and was exhausted. I feel alseep and woke up at 8:30. I was DEVESTATED! I knew I was fired for sure. I tried to call my office but no one answered the phone (we didn't have voice mail). I tried calling my sister at her office for sympathy and support, but no one answered there either! Since this was in the days before everyone and their dog had a cell phone, I left for work and stopped by a pay phone outside the grocery store to try to call work again. Again, no answer. Then I realized that the sky seemed to be getting darker instead of lighter... I asked a lady coming out of the store what time it was; she said 9:10. I asked, "AM or PM?" She said, "PM!", gave me a weird look and walked away really fast.

I gave my two weeks notice to my day job not long after that. Weirdest thing to happen to me in a loooooong time!Heather, aka: Big Auntiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02464541911809962354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8974756739355693517.post-5593945680714151262010-07-08T16:53:08.991-05:002010-07-08T16:53:08.991-05:00Bless your heart.Bless your heart.PhantomMinuethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16569580986314165225noreply@blogger.com
